Who would leave this darling boy in a sink hole next to a trash bag? Answer: the same person who let his teeth rot to the degree they were falling out. Luckily a jogger saw Dreamer and called Animal Control. And then Animal Control called us, because the situation was so awful and the little dog was so sweet. Would we help? (How could we not!)

Once Dreamer became ours, we had our vet remove all the teeth and fix him up in general. It took a while, but Dreamer finally felt great and thoroughly enjoys his life at his foster home. He runs, trots and strolls around "his" property, sniffing everything as if he hadn't done the same thing the day before. (Aren't dogs funny about that!) He likes his foster mom's dogs, as long as they don't jump on him.

We decided the best thing for Dreamer was for him to stay with his foster mom, given he doesn't like to be picked up (he's arthritic) and that he cannot maneuver steps very well. Sometimes the best thing for dogs is to let them live out their lives where they are happy and comfortable. See for yourself in his video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVDiGEuJYrA

Sweet dreams, Dreamer!
